Rolex Genuine & Collectible Vintage 60's Mark II "Long 5" Bezel Faded Insert Submariner 5512, 5513, 1680
This is a Collectable Rolex "long 5" version which is correct for mid 60's gilt subs as well as early matte dials and very early 1680 red Subs.
Nice fade appears greishé blue in person.
Signs of wear but overall very nice looking insert.
Sold with bezel.

Rolex 60's Rare watch collection timepieces for the first Rolex diving watches Submariner 5512, 5513, 1680 :A graduated insert faded with its steel rotative bezel insert.
The Rolex insert has this small feature on the 5, the longer upper cap (typography of the time) nicknamed "LONG FIVE" is a MARK II in the classification of old Rolex inserts.
Mark 2 has a longer 5 - look for the shape of the inner part of the lower bit - on some looks like a little hammer, on others looks like a little axe head.
Beautifully faded long 5 insert has Mark's from use.
It is compatible for watches Rolex Vintages Submariner 5512, 5513, sub date 168o.Its patina is faded, a gray ~ blue storm with claws provide a timeless and inimitable charm.
ITEM CONDITION:General condition correct, the insert has claws on the surface. It was glued to 12 '(classic weakness of the inserts of the 60s) because broken -see carefully pictures-.His pearl at 12 'is not original, maybe aftermarket.
The Rolex insert itself seems to have been glued to the bezel itself.It will be necessary to forgive him for 50 years of life where he passed in several hands....The registered printing is homogeneous without blows or external shocks.
Back is black.
The bezel Rolex is still very prominent despite small marks of very light use on the surface.The whole remains functional and ready to pose.
